    Orienteering is a sport that requires navigational skills. Participants follow a predefined route dotted with checkpoints known as “flags”. The only means of navigation available to you is a compass and a very detailed, small-scale topographic map. This is a versatile activity that can take place in a variety of locations, such as forests, open rural areas, and even historic city centres.
