The world of jazz is a captivating realm, encompassing a myriad of engaging and intriguing facets. It emerged as a powerful response to social adversity in the United States, and its infectious rhythms have since spread worldwide.
That’s why jazz has become a highly followed and studied genre in today’s world, reaching even the charming town of Fano.
From 22 to 30 July 2023, and continuing into August, the “Fano Jazz By the Sea” festival will take place, featuring 45 concerts and 150 international musicians who will bring the city to life with mesmerising rhythms and melodies.
The festival’s mission is to promote musical education and celebrate the excellence of Italian jazz, while also showcasing the country’s tourism, environmental, and artistic treasures. It aims to promote diverse musical productions and projects, sharing them with the world while inviting attendees to discover the wonders of the local area.
The festival seamlessly blends the rich traditions of jazz with the joys of summer, presenting events along Fano’s coast. A leisurely stroll by the sea becomes an extraordinary musical experience.
Whether experts or newcomers, young or old, residents or tourists, everyone will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the festival’s ambiance—a sonic journey that awaits to be savoured.
