Fano’s Carnival

Dating back to 1347, Fano Carnevale is known for its ability to reinvent itself each year with a variety of activities, floats, and entertainment that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

This is one of those events that caters to people of all ages and offers a range of activities every year that span from tradition to futurism, from history to innovation.
Usually it is spread across several weekends so that everyone can enjoy the celebrations, costumes, floats, and lots and lots of sweet treats!

There’s an opportunity for everyone to celebrate history, current affairs, and anniversaries.

There are three weekends of events, including huge float parades, a candy toss, a children’s carnival, and “fat” Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Thanks to the Carnevale Off initiative, there are shows and events scheduled throughout the weekend. Saturdays are dedicated to families and young people, while Fridays focus on live shows. International guests give prestige to the programme, along with entertaining and cultural insights.
